TheForkUserPerfect wait staff, perfect food. Accomodating to a vegetarian.
TheForkUserI have not enjoyed a meal so much for a long time. There was imagination, adventure and respect for quality ingredients in the 98 euro menu, with at least three stand-out courses. One, the St Pierre (John Dory) was exceptional and reminded me of visits to Gordon Ramsey in his prime. If a couple of dishes worked slightly less well - the chapon, in particular - it did not detract from the overall experience. Service was superb throughout. My wine choice was a joy and all credit to La Serre for being early adopters of Gigondas blanc. We genuinely can’t wait to go back next year to try this example of French restaurant skills at their (almost) finest. Walking distance of the town centre too…
TheForkUserWe had the Menu Pempoull and really enjoyed it. The mackerel starter was weakest part but a good job was made of an ordinary fish. The quail main course and the dessert were both sublime. We had the menu Aodou an Arvor previously as while it was also very good the food we got from the Pempoull menu was really top class and amongst the best meals we ever got in Paimpol or anywhere else for that matter.
TheForkUserwe don't often go to fancy restaurants so it was memorable for us. The food was very good (though the plate is not too big, we're not big eaters but still left a bit hungry), but the service, quality of the dishes and great view made it very worth it !
TheForkUserLovely restaurant overlooking the beach, you have a choice sitting indoors/outdoors.We have been to the restaurant a few times and the food is exceptional, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
TheForkUserHad a delicious meal gere. Service was really good.
TheForkUserMy wife and I dined at the Viaduct today for lunch. The food was excellent and the service was great!! Highly recommend to all.
_TI***kbWhat a delightful find! The setting is picturesque, and the crepes are some of the best I've had. The prices are very reasonable for the quality offered.
TheForkUserVery friendly and helpful maitre D . Excellent service and wonderful view of the bay across to Isle de Batz . Food superb!
_TI***dmI was impressed by the generous portions and the quality of the classic brasserie dishes. Everything was fresh and well-prepared.
TheForkUserThe service and food were outstanding. Some very interesting combinations and all were wonderful. Rather expensive but absolutely worth the price.
_TI***csA charming atmosphere with a retro decor adds to the dining experience. The fish soup and seafood sauerkraut were exceptional, making it a place worth returning to.
_TI***4aThe atmosphere in the restaurant is calm and pleasant, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The view of the kitchen adds a unique touch to the dining experience.
TheForkUserChez Tonton Guy is an excellent restaurant and offers a great overall dining experience. The one bit of critique would be the lighting intensity. They can offer a cozier experience by dimming their lights by 50%. Less light intensity = cozy.
_TI***8qThe burger was excellent, paired with homemade fries that were simply delightful. A great choice for dinner!
TheForkUserCan't fault this. Lovely welcome and service, despite our poor French. We were the only foreigners in a packed restaurant, which is significant.Typical Breton/French cuisine, exactly what we hoped for, and perfectly cooked. So all positive.
