Great food with a very nice creative twist combined with excellent and super friendly service.   We stop at Aux Gens Heureux here each time when we visit Tours.  Vaut le d&eacute;tour ! &ldquo;

The staff were so quick and friendly! A couple of them spoke English, which was a lifesaver when my friend got stuck on the menu. Made ordering a breeze for our group.

The soupe du poisson was fantastic. The cod and sole meuni&egrave;re were cooked just right. But for the price, I expected a bit more generous portions, especially with the fish mains. Still, a solid meal.

Even though the menu didn&rsquo;t seem tremendously exciting when we read it, the restaurant was recommended by several sources, so we decided to try it. I&rsquo;m so glad we did because the food was delicious. The service was very good - attentive without being intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the wine we had with it.

After a busy day of touring ch&acirc;teaus, it was wonderful to unwind at this restaurant which offers beautiful views of the Cher River and an ancient bridge. We enjoyed a lovely repast &mdash; melt in your mouth lamb, tarte Tatin and Saumur wine. Service was most attentive and we look forward to a return visit soon!

Got seated in the cellar room when it rained. Nice cozy vibe. Food was really good. Eloise was super friendly and made us feel welcome. Quick lunch spot for me.

I ate here 2 yrs ago and enjoyed it so much that I  made sure that I could eat here again on this trip to Tours.  Small, friendly, great food, wait staff is helpful with wine and menu options for those of us not fluent in French.  Merci beaucoup

This place is great! Atmosphere fantastic and Alison and Sidney the hosts are really friendly. They know what they&rsquo;re doing and what they&rsquo;re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. The food is wonderful, with some great twists, and for their prices it&rsquo;s 100% worth it. I give Le Calabash my highest recommendation and will be returning for another brilliant evening soon.

The weekend khao piek sen is pretty good. The soup is warming and the noodles are nice and thick. The nam vane dessert was a treat, too. A decent spot for a comforting bowl.

Generous portions, fair prices. The &#39;crying tiger&#39; was the standout - tender, well-seasoned, a solid choice. Good for a straightforward meal.

The owner is really nice. You can tell he puts a lot of care into each coffee. It&#39;s a pretty good craft coffee spot, though the seating is a bit limited.
