Been coming here for years. The shared plates are always the move - they bring out enough for everyone, and the flavours just hit right every single time. That&rsquo;s why I keep coming back.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The hotpot was delicious and the option to cook at the table added a fun twist to our meal. The staff were attentive and made us feel very welcome.

Got the early set menu before 6:30. Three courses for that price is a solid deal. Portions were decent, nothing stingy. The main was a proper plateful. For what you pay, you&#39;re getting a proper meal, not just a tasting.

I had a lovely breakfast experience with amazing service from Kirsty. The food was delicious, and the coffee was phenomenal!

The Sunday roast was one of the best I&#39;ve ever had, the Beef was tender and the veg was soft, lots of roasts pots and parsnips, plenty of gravy and the plates were piping hot. Fabulous!

The pearl barley salad with tuna. That&#39;s the one. Barley had a nice bite, tuna was seared just right. Not something you&#39;d expect at a place like this. Price was fair.

Loved the cosy layout - all the little rooms make it feel nice and quiet even when it&#39;s packed. The fish and chips were spot on, my father-in-law couldn&#39;t stop talking about them!

The cottage was lovely, but the wine list felt a bit limited for the setting.
