The carvery&#39;s always spot on, the roast beef especially. Juicy and properly seasoned. The gluten-free menu is a thoughtful addition, just wish it had a couple more choices on there.

The Sunday carvery is a solid choice. The portions are generous and the vegetables were fresh. I really appreciated how the staff kept the hot plates topped up without being asked, made the whole thing very relaxed. Good value.

The food was pretty good. the prawn cocktail sauce was rather watery but the prawns were fine. The serving of pate was very generous but the bread was like concrete. I think it had started life as a sourdough baguette, been re-warmed then allowed to go cold.We were very pleased with the main course being served with separate dishes of potatoes and vegetables so you could choose what you wanted and how much.Our table all had the salmon which was lovely. The sweets were all good as well.A grand night was had by all.
