A pleasant tea room with a modern feel. The garden seating is a nice option on a sunny day. Portions are decent and the menu has a good mix of sweet and savoury things. It's dog-friendly too, which is a plus. A solid spot for a casual bite.

The brie and cranberry toastie was lovely. The building's history with the cathedral gives it a nice feel.

Such a lovely spot for a coffee. The cakes are incredible, all fresh and homemade. That little dog-friendly touch makes it feel so warm.

Loved the afternoon tea! The china teapot was huge, perfect for a long catch-up. Crumpets were warm and delicious. The decor is so comfy, we ended up staying for ages just chatting.

Been coming here for years for their afternoon tea. The sandwiches are always fresh, and the cakes are homemade. It's a nice little spot off the main road. Gets a bit busy on weekends though.

Came here for my birthday. They had balloons at the table and brought out a small cake, which was a nice touch. The main course was tasty, but honestly, the portion felt a bit small for the price.

The air raid shelter-style toilet is definitely a memorable touch. It fits right in with the quirky, immersive vibe they've got going on. A fun little detail that adds to the experience.

Lovely spot for a catch-up with friends! Sat in the glass extension overlooking the common on a sunny day. The view was just perfect for a long, lazy lunch. We didn't want to leave.

Lovely afternoon tea for a special day. The table was decorated beautifully, and the booking process was smooth. The champagne pairing was a nice touch.

The charity angle is nice. Food's decent, prices are fair. But the main thing for me was the space – it's got this really calm, open feel, not cramped at all. Makes a difference just sitting there.

Popped in for lunch and got the savoury tart with potato and carrot salads. It was really tasty, just like I remember. Prices for eating in are still pretty decent.

The fruit scones were so good, perfect for a chatty catch-up with the girls. Warm, fluffy, and the clotted cream was generous!
