清真马莉餐厅(长城南大街店)

I walked into this little shop on a chilly evening and ordered a bowl of beef stew with flatbread. The broth was so clear you could see the patterns at the bottom of the bowl, and it warmed me from my throat all the way to my stomach. The beef slices were thinly cut, with a little bit of tendon, and curled slightly in the soup. The wind outside the window rustled the sycamore leaves, but the bowl of soup in my hand brought me a sense of peace.

This restaurant is perfect for gatherings with friends! The large table was just right for five or six of us, and the waiter even kindly helped us move tables together – so friendly! Do you often struggle to find restaurants that can seat so many people? Me too, haha!

I was genuinely surprised when the braised chicken was served; the portion was incredibly generous. The chicken was stewed until it was so tender it practically fell apart with the slightest touch. The most delightful part was the broth, which was exceptionally rich and flavorful, coating the wide noodles and soaking them up with every bite.
