I took my family there once before, and my first impression upon entering was that it was clean and bright. The decor wasn't flashy, but it was comfortable to look at. There were booths and private rooms; we booked a small private room, which was quiet enough for a peaceful chat. If you're traveling with children or want to discuss business, I recommend booking a private room in advance, as it gets quite crowded on weekends. Anyway, I would definitely choose that place again next time.
As soon as I entered, a waitress led me to my seat, and as soon as I sat down, she asked if I wanted to order one of their signature dishes—I hadn't even looked at the menu yet, haha. Later, it was my friend's birthday, and they even helped decorate the room, making it quite a special occasion. My friend was completely stunned. Isn't this kind of service a little too thoughtful? It makes me feel bad if I don't come here more often.
The taro stew was still bubbling when it was served. The taro was stewed until very soft, falling apart with the touch of chopsticks, and all the broth had seeped into it. I immediately scooped in half a bowl of rice and mixed it in, mashing the taro and mixing it with the rice. It was so oily and delicious, and I finished it in no time. If you go there, I suggest not ordering too many other dishes, as this stuff is incredibly filling.
