I absolutely loved this Sichuan restaurant!! The aroma of the fish-fragrant shredded pork was so irresistible, the shredded pork was incredibly tender, and even my friend, who doesn't eat spicy food, kept piling on the Mapo Tofu, slurping and slurping as he ate, haha. You absolutely have to order these two dishes if you go, and remember to order an extra bowl of rice, otherwise it won't be as impressive. By the way, what are your go-to Sichuan dishes? I'll try something different next time, so please leave your recommendations in the comments!!
I passed by this place before and, judging from the storefront, I thought it was one of those old-fashioned restaurants. But when I went inside, I found the decor to be quite modern, with a traditional Chinese style, and both a main hall and private rooms. I usually don't like sitting in private rooms because they're stuffy, so I sat in the main hall, which was bright and airy. I'm quite picky about cleanliness, and after checking under the tables and in the corners, I didn't see any grease stains, which is better than many other places. If you bring your elders here, they'll probably like this vibe.
The aroma of the spicy chicken was so enticing when it was served that it made my mouth water! 🤤 The chicken was fried to a crispy golden brown but still tender inside, and juicy when you bit into it – absolutely delicious! Plus, the portion was huge; two of us ate so much we still had a ton left. We even picked out all the little fried dough twists before we left, haha. I'll definitely order this again next time!
