The Americano at this shop is really good; the creaminess is ridiculously thick, one sip and you're instantly awake. We also ordered the flat white; the milk foam was very fine, so the coffee flavor wasn't overwhelmed by the milk foam. Even I, who don't usually like bitter coffee, found it smooth. My friend ordered the Spanish latte, and I had a sip. It was a little sweet, with a strong milky flavor, perfect for those who like milk-based coffees. Anyway, we sat there all afternoon and only ordered three drinks, and none of them were bad, haha.
We don't really frequent those trendy cafes around here, but this one's an exception. The croissants are really good, the outer layer is incredibly crispy, and the coffee is decent, not too sour or bitter, just right. The terrace has a nice view of the old town's gray-tiled rooftops; it's quite comfortable to sit there and have a cup in the afternoon. But don't have too high expectations; it's just a place to rest, not worth making a special trip for.
After leaving the museum, I strolled into this office building. The elevator to the 22nd floor went quite quickly. The shop was quiet, and I could see the traffic below from the window. Sitting there for a while, I felt completely relaxed. I ordered a latte and a Basque cheesecake; the cheese flavor was strong, a perfect match for the coffee. I spent the afternoon alone, flipping through a few pages of a book—very comfortable. I'll probably come back again after my next exhibition.
