This restaurant is great for a casual evening bite; the prices aren't expensive. I checked, and their fried rice and noodles are quite substantial, with generous portions. I recommend avoiding peak meal times; it's less crowded after 7 or 8 pm, and the food comes out faster.
When I visited this restaurant before, the Governor's Tofu was indeed soft and tender, and the stir-fried shredded pork with vinegar was quite flavorful—it's practically their signature dish. However, I suggest that when you order the shredded pork with vinegar, ask the chef to add a little less vinegar, as I found it somewhat overpowering the meat flavor.
The restaurant opposite the Agricultural University isn't really frequented by locals. It's incredibly crowded during mealtimes, with queues stretching all the way to the door. I recommend either going early or avoiding peak hours, otherwise the wait can be frustrating.
