百饺苑家常菜(天威西路店)

The aroma of noodles wafted out as I pushed open the wooden door. The shop wasn't crowded, and sunlight streamed in through the windows. I ordered seafood dumplings and cucumber and egg dumplings, which arrived steaming hot. The thin wrappers revealed a hint of the filling's color, and each bite was bursting with juice, especially the cucumber and egg ones—they were refreshingly light, like a breath of fresh air on a summer evening. I sat there slowly, enjoying my meal, and a sense of tranquility settled over me.

This old restaurant has definitely been around for a long time, and there's always a queue during mealtimes. Last time I took my family there, we ordered the braised pork, which was stewed until incredibly tender; both the elderly and children loved it. I suggest you go early to grab a seat, otherwise you'll definitely miss out.

The braised cabbage with pork cracklings was good, and the crispy fish was alright too. Locals occasionally come here for a few drinks; the place is fairly clean.
