Donkey meat hotpot is a specialty food in Hebei. I first learned about donkey meat hotpot from the TV series Underground Traffic Station. This time when I went to Baoding, I specifically looked for a local donkey meat hotpot restaurant. Yongmao is a time-honored brand, and the hotpot tastes very good!

This is probably the best McDonald&#39;s in Baoding, with good service and convenient location. I come here almost every time.

It tastes good, very good, and the donkey meat flavor is very authentic.

白运章包子铺是名声遐迩的中华老字号，是白运章师傅以自己的名字开设的一家包子铺。1958年，在全国大中城市包子质量评比中，白运章包子与天津&ldquo;狗不理&rdquo;包子双双夺魁；1980年又被评为河北省优质风味食品名牌产品。近一个世纪以来，包子铺历经了火灾、业主更人、公私合营、变更字号、拆迁铺址，一路风雨飘摇，沉沦再起，表现出了强大的生命力。白运章（1880-1944年）为保定市头条胡同人（清真西寺后面），自幼拜武术大师平敬一为师，习武摔跤还练了一身好气功。1924年，白运章在大哥白俊峰的资助下，接手一家包子铺开始经营，用来结交武林朋友。据传1926年临时大总统曹锟回到保定府邸乐寿园隐居时，曾到过白运章包子铺品尝包子，并大加赞扬，无形中给包子铺做了宣传。相传当年京剧大师梅兰芳也曾&ldquo;三顾&lsquo;白运章&rsquo;&rdquo;。1944年，白运章因病去世，妻子王彩玉接管了包子铺。1946年，白运章徒弟吴幼林离开了白运章包子铺，并在古莲花池对过接收了全胜饭庄，挂牌迎宾楼饭庄，仍是&ldquo;白运章&rdquo;包子风味，战时停业。新中国成立后，包子铺易主先后更名为&ldquo;同和轩&rdquo;&ldquo;永和轩&rdquo;&ldquo;大众合作食堂&rdquo;，1956年公私合营后恢复为&ldquo;白运章&rdquo;。&ldquo;文革&rdquo;时期改为&ldquo;立新食堂&rdquo;。1973年&ldquo;马号&rdquo;被拆除，包子铺迁址到古莲池对过，与&ldquo;望湖春&rdquo;隔壁相邻。1983年恢复白运章包子铺原名，由原白运章包子铺白案师傅满开祺任主任，仍保留原包子风味。2007年9月迁到保定商场北门口东侧。多年来，白运章包子铺先后培养了牛海泉、何长明、白金魁、马长在、安文全等多代传人，师傅们分布在保定、太原、阳泉、西安、石家庄、北京、天津等地。现今太原还有白运章的侄女白喜蓉、侄女婿闫忠义（原账房先生）开的白运章包子铺。
