双龙斋·涮肉锡盟牛羊肉(恒祥大街店)

I visited this restaurant before and was amazed by the attention to detail in their decor. I specifically looked closely at the old-fashioned clock on the wall; it wasn't artificially aged, it was a genuine antique. I suggest that when you go, don't just focus on the food, take a good look at these vintage items. These days, there aren't many restaurants willing to invest this much.

The portions of meat here are really generous; one serving is more than enough for two people. I did some research, and they use rib cuts, which are marinated thoroughly beforehand. They're flavorful enough to eat straight from the grill, no dipping sauce needed. I recommend not using too high a heat when grilling, otherwise the outside will burn before the inside is cooked through.

The brown sugar glutinous rice cakes were absolutely amazing! They were fried until crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, with such a fragrant brown sugar flavor 😋 The portion size for two was so generous, we were so full that we still had two pieces left over, it was so satisfying haha!
