星巴克(保定保百购物广场店)

I've been passing by this shop in the Baibai Shopping Plaza on Chaoyang North Street for over ten years on my way to and from work; I've been eating there since I was a child. Their signature sesame seed cakes are a must-buy every time I go. They're so crispy and crumbly when they're fresh out of the oven, and they're still delicious even when they're cold. If you go, remember to go early; the batch is most fragrant around 4 or 5 pm, otherwise they'll be sold out!

The blackcurrant drink was particularly pleasant; it had a rich fruity aroma without being too sweet. I sat by the window, gazing at the street scene for a while, and it completely relaxed me.

We don't usually order this kind of coffee around here, but their latte is actually pretty good, the milk foam is quite fine. The chicken wrap was just average, there was a bit too much sauce, which overpowered the meat flavor. The air conditioning was great though, it was nice to go in on a hot day.
