This restaurant costs about 80 RMB per person, which isn't expensive. However, in terms of value for money, it's not particularly amazing. After careful consideration, I discovered a trick to ordering: avoid the fancy fusion dishes and just order their signature roast goose, along with the soup of the day and rice. This way, the food is satisfying, and the money is well spent.
The restaurant has a really nice ambiance, and it captures the lively atmosphere perfectly. I specifically chose a window seat on the second floor, where I could see the neighbors chatting and eating with their bowls in hand downstairs, and it just felt right.
The lamb skewers were cooked perfectly, with a slightly charred exterior and tender interior. The pig's trotters are best eaten hot, as they harden when cold.
