狮子丸日式料理(莲池大街店)

I came to this restaurant before mainly for the ambiance. The wooden tables and chairs, the warm yellow lighting—it has that authentic Japanese feel. I recommend sitting by the window; the good lighting makes the photos you take look much better.

When we eat seafood here, we just want it to be fresh, and this place really gets that right. The razor clams are cleaned out, and with a drizzle of scallion oil, the meat is sweet.

This shop is so quiet and relaxing. I chatted with my friends for an afternoon, and time seemed to slow down.
