Dukou Hotel is the most upscale hotel in the Changshu Binjiang area. I had dinner at the restaurant tonight. It was delicious and highly recommended. The price was not expensive. It is highly recommended.

After driving for 2 hours from Shanghai to Dukou Hotel for dinner, I felt that my appetite was really good. Although this restaurant is near a deserted factory area, I know that this restaurant is doing well when I see the cars parked at the door. There are few casual customers in the lobby, but the private rooms are full. I heard that the signature here is fresh shrimp wontons, so I ordered one immediately, and also ordered the wontons to be packed, otherwise they would be gone if I was late. Wontons are 45 yuan per serving, which is also ridiculously expensive. The filling is shrimp meat and eggs, which is really delicious. When I got the packed wontons, I knew that there must be a lot of people who came to her house to pack. Even the paper bags are specially made to hold a plate of wontons. There is no menu in her house, and I don’t know the price of the dishes, but it is very fair. The black ginseng is super soft and sticky, and one serving is not enough. Many dishes are fried with vegetable oil, which is a bit unaccustomed. Red bean cake is also a specialty of her house. Old customers know to order take-out red bean cakes, 45 yuan each, which is quite delicious, although the price is three times that of ordinary sponge cakes outside.
