Visit attractions like Paifang Street and Guangji Bridge early in the morning or evening. 3⃣ Kaiyuan Temple is shaded by century-old banyan trees. Sit on the stone steps and listen to the chimes of the bells for a refreshing coolness.​ 4⃣ Avoid midday and head to Bijia Mountain. Climb the tower in the evening for a panoramic view. Chaoshan snacks, braised dishes, seafood, stir-fries, fine dining, desserts, and more are all available here. Every bite exudes the quality of a home-cooked meal, yet the price per person is under 100 yuan. I highly recommend the crab meat and vegetarian shark's fin soup. The appearance is stunning the moment it's served. The broth is clear, the crab meat is incredibly fresh, and the shark's fin is slippery and coated in the broth. The sauce is so delicious it's almost eyebrow-dropping! It's exquisitely crafted, like a work of art! The geoduck in the tiger dish is a pleasant surprise. The geoduck slices are paper-thin and crispy, blending with the subtle spiciness and refreshing flavor of the tiger dish creates a luxurious yet non-greasy feel. The baked cuttlefish in the casserole is a must-try! The aroma fills the air as soon as the lid is lifted. The cuttlefish are plump and chewy, and the rich sauce coats every inch of the cuttlefish. It's finger-licking delicious! The Qianchao Banquet offers excellent value for money. Birthdays can even be decorated in themed private rooms, and there's even a special blessing ceremony to enhance the atmosphere. A complimentary birthday cake completes the dining experience. The restaurant we visited today has been open for over 10 years, even celebrities have dined there. It's been recognized as a "Fengwei Restaurant," so its taste and reputation are pretty solid. Chaoshan snacks, braised dishes, seafood, stir-fries, exquisite Chaoshan cuisine, desserts...you name it, they have it all. We ordered a few specialties that my friends praised. The portions were perfect, the prices were reasonable, and the authentic Chaoshan flavors were truly the best in Chaozhou. The signature pork tripe and chicken dish was crispy and odorless, while the chicken was tender and not dry, and the broth was thick. Thick and super fresh. The Chaozhou-style Crispy Pepper Partridge is incredibly chewy, with the partridge meat firm and firm, and the subtle spiciness of the crisp peppers makes it even more fragrant the more you chew it. The Vinegar-Style Five Little Fortunes blends several ingredients, creating a sour and sweet dish that's especially refreshing. The Sautéed Fish with Scallions is incredibly flavorful, with the fried fish chunks firm and firm. The fragrant sauce and the spiciness of the scallions create a perfect combination.
