The boss is the chef, who has no cooking experience. He loves to search for delicious food all over the world, come back to create his own, select the ingredients and the side dishes. The decoration is very exquisite. In addition to the restaurant, one of the four expensive red wine bottles is a secret door mechanism. After rotating it, it is a private cigar bar with a sound and video room. It is open only to close friends. There are two sets of black leather sofas, mainly for personal use. I won’t go into details about the dishes I had. The ingredients are all the best, whether it is wagyu or huge yellow mantis shrimp, whether it is imported scallops or sea urchin tempura, all are of the best quality. The wagyu, moong melon and egg pancakes at the end are also very delicious. This kind of place is only suitable for a few close old friends to get together.

From the building structure to the wall decorations, the extensive use of hand-waxed dark oak, along with leather furniture and equestrian elements throughout, creates a retro, old-money ambiance. The meticulously crafted drink menu features collaborations with Guangzhou Temple Cafe, offering classic American cocktails that perfectly complement RL's vintage feel. Ascending the stairs from the second-floor clothing area, you'll find a retro American style with textures from wood grain, metal, and leather. The third-floor terrace offers a 270-degree panoramic view of Taikoo Li; a cool spot at night would create a chill atmosphere (PS: I recommend their burgers, especially the black truffle ones for a rich flavor). ✅ Exploring Song Cafe, a popular spot in Chengdu's Taikoo Li (located in Taikoo Li Plaza, on one side of Daci Temple! On the first day of Qingming Festival, I met up with my bestie at a popular old internet-famous restaurant, but it was closed. Since I couldn't think of anything to eat at the moment, I decided to bring her here to try my favorite burger. [Montaigne Burger] 168 RMB If you like a stronger flavor, this one is a good choice. Think melted Brie cheese and thick black truffle sauce, paired with a juicy patty and a slightly crispy bun. It's truly satisfying in one bite. But if you prefer something lighter, go for the classic version; it's more conventional and just as delicious. [Roasted Cauliflower and Wild Mushrooms] 128 RMB I love the sauce underneath this one; it's quite unique and a bit spicy. The cauliflower and mushrooms are both fried and then lightly roasted. I think they're a bit oily. If they were just roasted, it would be even better. [Classic Five-Layer Chocolate Cake] 78 yuan Well, it didn't quite satisfy me. It looked thick, but the chocolate cake base was too dry, making it a bit dry. The chocolate wasn't smooth and creamy either. Overall, it wasn't a great chocolate cake, just average.
