A small pub with a nice environment and not too high prices
Sharing a hidden gem for a late-night drink, it has the ambiance of a Chengdu pub. It's one of the oldest pubs in Chenzhou, about five or six years old, tucked away in the alleys of Yuhou Street. [Exploring the Restaurant] The two-story building is surrounded by greenery, with ivy climbing up the exterior walls. The interior decor is retro and atmospheric, featuring vintage windows, a television, a sewing machine, old books, an old piano, vintage picture books, and bamboo scroll menus. The combination of these antiques creates a truly charming atmosphere. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by classic retro music, transporting you back to the 70s and 80s. The owner personally designed and decorated the entire restaurant, which spans two floors. The small space is divided into 10 separate seating areas, accommodating 2-10 people. The space seems to be well-utilized, with no wasted space. The dimly lit interior is relatively quiet and private, perfect for a date or a drink with friends. However, it can get a bit noisy when people play cards or board games. [Signature Fruit Wine] The specialty fruit wine is served in antique-style pitchers and saucers, giving you a sense of time travel. Available in 10, 20, and 30% alcohol, all priced at 68 RMB per pitcher. Around 10% alcohol: Peach Blossom Wine, Laughing in the Red Dust (lychee flavor), Rose Dew, Osmanthus Wine, Pomegranate, Zha Nan Zha Nu (hawthorn flavor), Jasmine Flower, and Green Tea... Overall, they're fragrant and sweet, and even a few ice cubes make them a pleasant drink for a non-drinker like me. 20% alcohol: Green Plum Wine and 30% alcohol: These are much stronger flavors, perfect for those who enjoy drinking and want to get tipsy. In addition to fruit wine, they also offer beer, Jägermeister, and simple drinks. [Snacks and BBQ] Fried Tofu, Mustard Cucumber, Toothpick Beef, Braised Beef, Shredded Squid, and Drunkard Peanuts...are all our go-to snacks. Of course, they also offer barbecue, as the owner runs their own restaurant.
