Chongqing people love hotpot. Needless to say, they miss it so much if they don't eat it for a few days. And it got colder in Chongqing over the weekend. They say hotpot goes best with rainy days! I happened to have a coupon on the platform, so I decided to check in! The location is also really great, right in the middle of Jiaochangkou Night Market. It's easy to see on foot that the whole place is huge, with about 20 tables outside in the open air. Since it was so cold, we decided to sit inside! The ladies were very welcoming and had a great attitude, but they were a bit careless and spilled some glutinous rice balls on my pants. Luckily, it wasn't greasy, otherwise I'd have ruined my pants after eating hotpot, which would have been a big loss! The taste was above average, with a very strong spicy flavor. I ordered mild spicy, but it still tasted spicy afterwards, so it was still okay! The only thing I need to point out is that the portion size is slightly different when using the coupon on the platform and when you scan the code! It feels like the dishes on the coupon are smaller, and the portion size is quite good when you scan the code to add dishes yourself, so it's a bit disappointing! The price with the coupon is a bit inflated!

Near Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, there is a street full of food. The location is easy to find, the sign is big and easy to find. The special fresh goose intestines are very long, and they are boiled for 15 seconds. The taste is really good. The spicy beef is really super spicy

Yuzong Hotpot is a well-known and authentic Chongqing hotpot restaurant. Located on the 3rd floor of the Sun Moon Plaza in Jiaochangkou, the Jiefangbei branch is spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The soup base is rich and mellow, and the dishes are incredibly fresh.

This was my last hotpot meal during my trip to Chongqing, and it was also the most satisfying. I'm not a big fan of spicy food, and after a few days of hotpot and Jianghu cuisine, I felt a bit queasy. But this time, my stomach felt completely at ease. While this place was spicy, it wasn't too pungent. Southerners still recommend the "Double-Spice Hotpot." The hotpot dishes are generally duck blood, tripe, and the quality is excellent at every restaurant, so it all comes down to the flavor of the hotpot base and the dipping sauce.

Two people ordered these, plus a plate of lamb and vegetables. I didn't take a photo. They also have coupons, no matter how much, it's still money! We went at noon and there were fewer people.
