三岁半凯凯For three consecutive years, I've diligently snagged a room voucher for the Hangzhou West Lake Liuyingli Hotel during Singles' Day, but the trip never materialized. Finally, we're here! And Liuyingli was absolutely worth the three-year wait.
The hotel itself is like an elegant garden, nestled within the "Willow Waves and Orioles Singing" area, enjoying a secluded corner of West Lake, facing "Three Pools Mirroring the Moon" across the lake, and incorporating "Leifeng Pagoda at Sunset" into its daily life. Our lake-view room wasn't large, but sitting by the window, we could take in most of West Lake – a priceless experience.
🌅 At sunset, strolling through the hotel garden, Leifeng Pagoda stood bathed in golden light, a truly picturesque scene.
🥢 Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise. The restaurant wasn't large, and the variety wasn't extensive, but the food was authentic and delicious – scallion pancakes, Pian'erchuan noodles, Dingsheng cake… all the Hangzhou specialties were there. It was the first time my daughter and I had eaten breakfast until closing time, and we were completely satisfied.
【Nearby Strolls & Hidden Gems】 Liuyingli is located in the core scenic area of West Lake. It's recommended to get around by taxi or on foot:
🏞 Liulang Wenying (Listening to Orioles Singing in the Willows)
The hotel has direct access to the scenic area; you can enter the park right outside your door. Although the willow leaves have fallen in winter, the lake view remains tranquil and beautiful. Avoid the crowds and enjoy the same views from inside the hotel for a more pleasant experience.
☕️ Rushigu Coffee & Bar
A Republic-era style courtyard coffee shop within walking distance, hidden by West Lake, with an elegant atmosphere, worth a short visit.
🚶 Recommended Route: Dajing Lane ➡️ Southern Song Imperial Street
· Hefang Street: Crowded and commercialized, not recommended for a special trip.
· Dajing Lane: Much quieter, with many quality shops. Recommended: 【Iron Hand Coffee Manufacturing Bureau】 and 【Hidden Stone Restaurant】.
· Southern Song Imperial Street: Lined with time-honored brands, you can visit 【Jia'ou Tiancheng】 and 【Cat's Sky City】.
🏯 Leifeng Pagoda
Approximately 18 minutes walk from the hotel. Climbing the tower offers panoramic views of West Lake; it's recommended to go in the evening to capture the "Leifeng Pagoda at Sunset." The tower has an elevator, and you can take one if the queue isn't long. We climbed the stairs, and although it was tiring, the view from the top made it all worthwhile.
Liuyingli is more than just a hotel; it's a tranquil retreat by West Lake. If you're looking for a place in Hangzhou that offers both urban convenience and peaceful retreat, this is the answer. ✨ #HangzhouTravelGuide #2025CtripReputationRankings #HangzhouLiulangWenying #HangzhouWestLakeLiuyingliHotel #FamilyHotelForKids

I have to say this hot pot place, hidden deep in an old alley, is truly excellent. Dajing Alley in Jiefangbei is filled with the hustle and bustle of life. Built in the style of a 1990s factory, vegetarian dishes start at 1, 2, or 3 yuan, while meat dishes start at 6 yuan, and most are over 10 yuan. It's a fantastic value. You can also see freshly made black tofu pudding and a large plate of spicy beef. The dumplings and beef are both delicious, with rich flavors and fresh dishes. There's also the oil tea, fermented glutinous rice wine, and iced glutinous rice balls from my childhood—a truly nostalgic experience! Afterward, you can also draw a lottery for a meal, free food discounts, and more. It's truly a truly enjoyable experience! #FoodFestival #LocalFood #TryAnAuthenticOldBranch #HotPotYouWantToLineUp #TheAnchorTakesYouRideThroughChongqing

It's like being transported back to the 80s! 😭 The ramshackle old factory buildings, the neighbors bustling about, the communal atmosphere of eating meals in the courtyard is truly heartwarming! 😭 Many dishes are handmade, so fresh you can see. The large pot of braised pig's trotters, freshly caught, is only 5.8r. After a blanching in the hot pot, the aroma of the braised pork blends with the spicy flavor of the traditional hot pot, making it incredibly glutinous! ! Just close your eyes and order! The self-service ice jelly is 3.8r, with as many toppings as you want. There are green grapes, bayberries, mangoes, peaches, grapes, blueberries, and more. This would cost over ten yuan elsewhere. I saw so many families bringing their kids to DIY, so sweet! ❤️ The freshly fried crispy pork, the freshly wrapped tofu skin wontons, and the daily steamed griddle-style vegetables, steamed pork ribs, steamed pork intestines, and steamed pork are all delicious! ! ! ! Honestly, when I first arrived, I thought this place wouldn't be crowded, being in such a corner. But before the time even arrived, both the inside and the outside were packed. It's true, "hot pot needs no bush." You can always find a good spot. #Chongqing #ChongqingFood #YiYiChangHotPot #JieFangBeiHotPot #ChongqingFoodGuide #ChongqingTravel #ChongqingHotPot #YanHuoQiHotPot #FoodChongqing #ChongqingTravel #LocalFood
Every time my friends come to Chongqing for a trip, I will bring them here to eat hot pot. The nostalgic style of the 1980s is very Chongqing's local life atmosphere, and the hot pot tastes very authentic. Friends who have eaten here all say it's good👍. 🌈The dishes are very distinctive. What amazed my friends the most was the large plate of spicy beef. The beef was covered with chili powder🌶️ and was hand-pounded with a wooden hammer to fully penetrate the spicy flavor into the beef. Only those who have eaten it can understand the value of this bite; the freshly cut dragon has another taste, which tastes fresh and refreshing; the freshly killed loach hot pot is also delicious~~ In addition to a variety of delicious dishes, the store also has traditional Chongqing snacks: Chongqing specialty oil tea, oil fermented glutinous rice, etc., which can be eaten here✅. The store is very spacious, with some dish prices, various ingredients on display at the door, and interesting slogans in the store, full of life. There are some activities in the store recently💃. You can win scratch lottery tickets by eating hotpot, worship the Cyber God of Wealth, etc. It is really delicious and fun.
