Jinshan GuYuan Restaurant

I had a great time eating and drinking in Dali Ancient Town these few days! I found a lot of treasures and delicious restaurants. The environment and taste were good. I highly recommend Jinshan Hundred Years Ancient Courtyard Restaurant (Wang's Old House)! I really like the traditional Bai ethnic cuisine and the Bai ethnic spring rolls!

In spring, the Tubu fish from Yunnan's water towns is fresh and delicious, and is the most delicious dish. The braised Tubu fish is simple to make, without complicated seasonings, and highlights the rich fresh flavor. The fish meat is tender and delicious, with more than 70% edible part, and rich in nutrition.

This is a local old shop that provides authentic Yunnan cuisine. The decoration style of the shop is very simple and exquisite, and you will be attracted by it as soon as you walk past it. This shop is very popular among the locals, and there is always a queue here at mealtime.

The Jinshan Centennial Courtyard Restaurant is indeed profound. The house is owned by the boss, and the requirements for dishes are also very high. No wonder the courtyard is full of guests and friends at night, and all the seats are full, all of them are repeat customers! The 120-year-old courtyard is full of time, and the garden design is specially arranged to make people return to nature. How beautiful it is! There are really many delicious foods here! The boss brought passion fruit hot and sour fish, Bai nationality tile barbecue, braised chicken, water lily... all of them are signature dishes! Drinking rose wine, eating together is full of praise, all the fresh ingredients used are that day! A big thumbs up. The taste of the braised chicken starts to be strong on the outside and light on the inside. Eat more, the more you eat, the more flavorful it is, the more fragrant it is, it is really layered. It’s too rich to eat with a friend in a century-old restaurant! Coupled with such a pleasant environment, it is simply the peak of life.

I ate here once when I came to Dali in 2014. This time I was thinking about it so much that I forgot the name of the restaurant and couldn't find the historical order. I actually found this restaurant! Monkey feces!! My parents, who are always frugal, said it was good, the price was affordable, the taste was very good, the service was in place, and the style was very high. I instantly drove away the fatigue of the journey. The owner was always there when I entered the courtyard and ordered dishes. He was very enthusiastic in recommending us. We were very satisfied with the meal and made an appointment. By the way, the owner was a gentle and elegant person. Overall, I remember this restaurant. Their food is delicious. I passed by this store before but didn't go in. Yesterday, my girlfriend asked me out and said she wanted to give me a surprise. I like delicious food and it makes me feel satisfied. When she said it was a surprise, I naturally thought she was taking me to eat something delicious, so I followed her to Jinshan. It felt great to eat in the yard. The fried bacon with matsutake mushrooms was almost completely sold out. The fried rice with whitebait, soup, beef and chicken were all super delicious. My child ate 2 bowls of rice. Halfway through the meal, it started to rain and the boss held up a big umbrella for us. There was another atmosphere. An aunt saw that my son was sitting too low and thoughtfully gave him a cushion. It was so warm.
