The owners of this restaurant are incredibly kind and welcoming. Last time I went there, the owner's wife saw I had my child with me and offered to bring a high chair for me. She also reminded me that they could use less salt in their signature braised pork, as they were worried it might be too salty for the child.
I tried the clear broth copper hot pot here before, and the lamb was indeed freshly sliced to order. The meat was very flavorful, quite different from regular frozen meat rolls. I suggest you watch the chef slice the meat when you order; you can tell the freshness at a glance.
The lamb at this restaurant is really good! The Xiqi lamb and Xiqi lamb chops are exceptionally fresh; you can tell it's high-quality meat just by tasting it, and the lamb flavor is authentic. I suggest you go early, as they might sell out if you go too late.
