This independent coffee shop is absolutely amazing! The background music hits you the moment you walk in&mdash;the playlist is so tasteful! Did the owner choose it themselves? I sat there all afternoon and didn&#39;t get tired of it, haha. Plus, it has a private restroom, which is such a huge plus for a coffee shop!

This restaurant isn&#39;t big, but it&#39;s very clean, similar to a typical fast food restaurant. I suggest you go early, as it can get crowded during peak hours and you might have to wait for a table.

I was genuinely surprised when the spicy chicken was served; a huge plate full of bright red meat, with very generous portions of chicken pieces&mdash;not the kind where you&#39;re searching for meat among the chilies. The sweet and sour pork was the same; each slice was coated in a glistening sweet and sour sauce, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Just for the sheer quality of these two dishes, the meal was incredibly satisfying, and I felt truly valued.

I snagged a two-person meal in a flash sale, and the portions were quite generous. I especially loved the slow-cooked beef short ribs; the meat was tender and flavorful, and the accompanying red wine sauce had a subtle fruity aroma. From the window seat, I could see the leaves of the old sycamore trees swaying gently, making the whole evening feel soft and inviting.
