Amituo Fozhensuguan (Sanfang Qixiang Shop)

Entering from Wangyuan in Sanfang Qixiang, the Amitabha Vegetarian Restaurant, which was transformed from an entire old house, is another attempt by Amitabha Hotel to offer vegetarian food. It is located in a cultural scenic spot that symbolizes the cultural roots of Fuzhou. It constructs a vegetarian experience full of literati's elegance and Zen, while integrating modern elements in a classical Chinese courtyard building. The quiet and winding alleys have a solemn sense of history and humanity. The simple and elegant gate is the front hall with furniture in the style of the top scholar, such as the champion chair. Facing you is the elegant atmosphere of sandalwood combined with Fuzhou jasmine. A long scroll of landscape paintings from the Song Dynasty is hung on the wall. The neat and orderly guest seats are all designed in a simple and unsophisticated new Chinese style. The transparent restaurant with large floor-to-ceiling glass is refreshing. Outside the window is a garden scene with green trees and white walls and gray tiles, accompanied by the lingering sound of the guqin.

This is a self-service high-end vegetarian restaurant, and you can also order a la carte on the second floor. You have to walk through several winding corridors to get in. It is very quiet and isolated from the noise of the street. The decoration inside the restaurant is antique and has screens inside. It is elegant and simple, but not vulgar or noisy. The gray walls and tiles, red painted beams, and big red lanterns hanging high show a pleasing classical style everywhere.
