Discover the hidden culinary secrets hidden deep in the streets and alleys. If you ask me where to find delicious oyster pancakes in Fuzhou, I would unhesitatingly recommend A Zhengsao's Fuqing Sweet Potato Ball Oyster Pancakes (Main Branch). Their oyster pancakes are truly exceptional, crispy and soft without being greasy, and generously flavored with fillings. The seaweed, meat filling, cabbage, and shrimp—every element is perfectly balanced, making every bite a delightful feast for the taste buds. The owner is also very patient and the service is excellent. Let's talk about Dongxing Beef Restaurant (Fuda Branch). Their mixed noodles with sweet and spicy sauce have a unique texture, the beef chunks are not dry, and the broth is rich and flavorful without being overpowering. If you enjoy food that warms both the stomach and the heart, this place is definitely worth a try. For fans of shengjianbao (stir-fried buns) and beef vermicelli soup, Chen's Shengjian (Sanfang Qixiang Branch) is a great choice. The shengjianbao broth is sweet and fresh, and the large shrimp are the perfect icing on the cake. The beef vermicelli soup is both satisfying in terms of quantity and quality. The service here is also very friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. If you're looking for some creative cuisine, Wasabi House Creative Cuisine (Fuzhou Suning Plaza Branch) is a great choice. The setting is elegant, and the service is friendly and professional. The beef rice is healthy and tasty. However, while the strawberry snowman looks nice, the creaminess is average. Overall, though, the group buy is a great value. The paper-wrapped shaomai at Dadou Shaomai Stall (Daoshan Road Branch) are thin-skinned and generously filled, and the combination of flavors is especially impressive. The hot dry noodles, coated in red oil and sesame paste, are a true Wuhan style. While the bone-in pork and offal flavors are a bit strong, overall, the food at this restaurant is excellent. Laziwang Lanzhou Beef Noodles (Sanfang Qixiang Branch) are decent, with two or three slices of meat, but the noodles are average. The texture is okay, but the broth isn't my favorite. Definitely worth a try with the group buy. Xubub Lanzhou Beef Noodles (Huarun MixC Branch) is a great value beef noodle restaurant in Fuzhou. A plate of braised beef in soy sauce, an order of beef noodles with unlimited noodles, and a fried egg—it was a feast for the eyes. Although I've always thought Lan Ji was better, this place has the added bonus of group buys and a larger portion of meat. The broth was a bit salty and had a hint of MSG, but this time I found it had improved, while the meat was a bit thinner. The guy who added the noodles was very friendly, and the noodles were very filling. I highly recommend it! In this city, dining isn't just about enjoyment; it's about the joy of exploration and discovery. Behind every bite lies a story, waiting to be discovered and savored.

Sweet potato balls have a history of over 400 years. For the people of Fuqing, this simple, down-to-earth delicacy is a cherished memory for their taste buds. Sweet potato balls, also known as sweet potato balls, are a Fuqing specialty. Their round shape symbolizes family reunion. The outer layer is made from peeled sweet potatoes, either starch or sweet potato flour, and the filling consists of minced pork, scallions, seaweed, and oysters. Despite their simple ingredients, the sweet potato balls are incredibly delicious. The outer layer is soft yet chewy, and the savory filling inside is irresistible. Oyster pancakes taste similar to spring rolls, and I'm not sure why they're called oyster pancakes. However, because they're re-fried, they're incredibly crispy and warm. Business is booming, with a constant stream of takeout orders. I ordered a seaweed pancake, which was a bit oily, more like a fried bun, and a bit greasy. Oyster pancakes are just as delicious as spring rolls.
This time, I set foot on this culinary gem of Fuzhou with a full appetite. Today, I'm sharing my delicious adventures there! First, I visited Gu Zheng Yan (Gu Zheng Yan), a small but incredibly popular place. The steamed fish swallows were incredibly tender and smooth. The Italian egg noodles were even more amazing, so chewy and bouncy that I couldn't stop eating. Next, I visited the award-winning Ke Sheng Fish Balls. Their shark balls are truly exceptional—large and chewy. While the filling isn't seasoned well, the flavor is absolutely top-notch. Then I tried A Zheng Sao's Fuqing Sweet Potato Balls. The crust was baked to a crispy consistency, and the seaweed filling was incredibly flavorful, though a bit salty and needed some water. I absolutely have to mention Cui Jiang's fried chicken. The silver millet-flavored fried chicken was irresistible; the texture was crispy and the chicken was tender and juicy. At Huan Xi Chuan Oh in Yantai Mountain, I tried their mango ice cream. The refreshing mango flavor and sweet ice cream were a perfect combination, and I absolutely loved it. Finally, I found Wuming Hot Dog Shop. The cilantro hot dog was absolutely amazing! The sweet and sour sauce paired with the cilantro and sausage was a perfect match. Of course, there was also Changle Rice Shop. I couldn't finish the Jasmine Red Bean flavor, but just looking at it was incredibly appetizing. This Fuzhou foodie trip was a real treat! The prices were affordable, and the flavors were fantastic. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes next time. I'm looking forward to my next foodie trip! --- Highlight: If you love food, Fuzhou is a must-see! There's so much delicious food to discover.
