This Kueh Ran Hao is a must-visit shop for glutinous rice cake lovers. It's located on Daming Road and serves authentic Jianou rice cakes! Even the rice stems are made by the owner himself. The shop isn't big, but it's clean and cozy. Fully equipped with hats, gloves, sleeves, and masks, I felt comfortable before I even started eating. Both the rice stem and the mugwort skins are used regularly. The bamboo shoots are so fresh that they bite your tongue, and they're wrapped in the glutinous skins, making them very chewy. It's a great value for money, and you can just pick up a Kueh if you pass by.
