I decided to go on a road trip, starting in Hangzhou, with Fuzhou as my first stop! #三坊七乡打卡 1️⃣ Yonghe Fish Balls 🐟 I ordered the Seven Star Meatballs. I personally think the smaller ones are better; the larger ones are too fishy and have soft bones. 👍 2️⃣ Tongli Meatballs 🍜 It was very crowded, so ordering, picking up, and finding a seat required a lot of coordination. It wasn't great, but if you haven't tried it, it's worth a try. 3️⃣ Peanut Soup 🍲 A Fujian specialty soup. The name was a bit off-putting at first, but after trying it, I found it quite good. This one is more expensive than the street vendors, so I recommend finding one directly on the street. 4️⃣ Tangmo Tea 🧋 A local milk tea brand with similar flavors, nothing particularly new. In comparison, I think Cha Yan Yue Se is slightly better. 5️⃣ The Love Tree in Sanfang Qixiang 🌳 There were so many people, I couldn't squeeze in. Just make do with it. 😒 #XichanAncientTemple Tickets are 20 yuan, and the temple is quite popular. It's quite large and rich in cultural heritage, so I definitely recommend a visit. It shouldn't be too crowded right now. 🙏 This Spring Festival, friends from Jiangsu and Zhejiang have all headed south, conquering Fujian, Xiamen, and Guangdong. The highways are practically full of people with these license plates. Hotel prices in Fuzhou have also generally increased, making them difficult to book. I recommend choosing a hotel with parking nearby and taking the subway. The Fuzhou subway is free during Spring Festival and goes directly to Sanfang Qixiang, making it very convenient.
A heart-shaped banyan tree has become a viral hit in Fuzhou's Three Lanes and Seven Alleys. Because of its heart-like shape, netizens affectionately call it the "Love Tree." Its 360-degree beauty makes any photo beautiful. Many young women have come to check it out, and couples have even taken photos beneath the tree, forming heart shapes with their hands. Because the "Love Tree" has become so popular, Fuzhou's tourism industry has also launched surrounding cultural and creative products. Three Lanes and Seven Alleys is a 5A-rated tourist attraction in Fuzhou and a must-see for every visitor. Stepping onto the mottled bluestone pavement, one feels transported back to the Ming and Qing dynasties and the Republic of China. The ancient buildings exude a rich atmosphere of history and culture, showcasing the profound cultural characteristics of Fuzhou. Three Lanes and Seven Alleys are particularly beautiful at night, as the red lanterns lining the streets and the colorful lights of the shops gradually light up. Here you can find Fuzhou's special snacks, including Yonghe fish balls, Tongli meat dumplings, Dingbianhu, Mujin meatballs, peanut soup, taro paste... These authentic snacks from old Fuzhou are dazzling and mouth-watering.
📍Itinerary Day 1: Depart from Yiwu/Hefei and arrive in Fuzhou. Day 2: Explore the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys - Explore Shangxiahang - Stroll along Love Island - Admire Yantai Mountain - Wander at Gushan Mountain. Day 3: Depart from Fuzhou and arrive in Pingtan. Meet at Pingtan Station - Check in at a comfortable hotel - Explore the wonders of Xianrenjing - Explore Beigang - Hike along Changjiangao. Day 4: Enjoy breakfast and depart for your adventure on Houyan Island. 📍Recommended Attractions 🌀Fuzhou • The Three Lanes and Seven Alleys and Shangxiahang are traditional neighborhoods found in every city. If time is short, choose between them. • Love Island and Yantai Mountain are photographers' paradises. Bring a photographer along for stunning photos! • At Gushan Mountain, take the cable car for 50 yuan one way and 70 yuan round-trip. (Of course, you can also hike up the mountain!) The breathtaking scenery up and down the mountain is definitely worth it, and if you're lucky, you can even catch a stunning sunset. But be sure to queue up in advance! We waited over an hour for the cable car down the mountain 😮💨, and the wait was more tiring than a full day of hiking 🥹. 🌀Pingtan • The entrance fee to Xianrenjing is 20 yuan, while the boat ride to it is only 80 yuan per person, a 25-30 minute journey. I personally think this is a pretty good deal (the walk from the parking lot to the ticket gate takes only about ten minutes, and if the weather isn't too hot, you don't have to buy a scenic spot ticket). • Beigang, reportedly the filming location for the variety show "Where Are We Going, Dad?", is packed with restaurants and B&Bs, so there's no need to stop there specifically. • Changjiangao was my favorite spot of the trip! You can see the giant windmills and feel the ocean up close—the scenery is simply spectacular! Changjiangao has three viewpoints, and we chose the top-rated sunset spot 📽. While waiting for the sunset, you can pick up shells on the beach 🐚, but unfortunately, there was a lot of trash on the beach, which was a bit heartbreaking. • Houyan Island, the closest place to Taiwan, has a 38 yuan entrance fee, and the scenic area transportation fee is 10 yuan one way and 20 yuan round-trip. The various attractions on the island are a bit far apart, so if you're not very fit, I recommend buying a round-trip ticket to avoid pushing yourself too hard. The scenery is so beautiful that you won't want to leave 🌊. 📍Food Check-in 🌀Fuzhou • Laohua: Light but delicious, especially the oil field in the soup, which has a unique flavor. • Tangmo Chaxi: Fuzhou's Cha Yan Yue Se, in two words, delicious 🥤. • Fuding Roupian: I was moved to finally try local food. It tasted exactly like I remembered, sour and spicy. I'm sure everyone will love it. • Peanut Soup: A bit like eight-treasure porridge, but definitely worth a try. 🌀Pingtan • Lao Chao Feng Boiled Fish: Wow, the portion is huge, the sides are plentiful, and the flavor is top-notch. If you don't like spicy food, I recommend ordering it mildly. It's a must-try Pingtan food! 🍤 • Mao Ji Seafood Porridge: Needless to say, the porridge is absolutely delicious! 🍲 We also tried the fermented black bean chicken feet, shrimp dumplings, and fried oysters! 🦪, and they all didn't disappoint at all! 🥢 • Specialties: Ladies! I recommend buying them directly from the supermarket! I recommend Guan Supermarket. The staff are sincere and their recommendations are spot-on! The prices are transparent, so you won't get ripped off! Don't miss it, ladies! #FuzhouTravel #NewEraNewYouthNewTravel #RomanticDomesticTravelDestinations #BuckTravelCheck-InGuide #SafeTravelNearbyTravel
