Fuliu Coffee—I'm not sure if the owner is from outside Fuzhou, but he chose the name because he loved Fuzhou and stayed here! Fuliu has been open for over three years and opens at 8:30 a.m. Sitting inside, I can wake up with a cup of coffee while I work.
Recommendation 1: Ethiopian beans, washed, with layered notes of lemon, green tea, and pomelo.
Recommendation 2: Fucheng, with a light fruity aroma that doesn't overpower the coffee. I also tried a bean with a hint of tangerine tea.
"Latte, with a bun"—regulars order with familiarity. The sun shines brightly outside, and the aroma of coffee permeates the air inside. It's quite good.

There's a sweet soup shop called Hetang on Hetang Road (near Fuliu). Its design is cozy, with a white and wood color scheme and warm lighting. To one side is a workshop where you can sit outdoors and watch the staff make the sweet soup, or head inside to enjoy the air conditioning. The butter dried persimmons are soft and glutinous, and the fermented rice balls with taro balls are both beautiful and delicious. The peach gum, white fungus, and snow pear desserts have just the right amount of sweetness. The sweet soup is always hot, but you can add some ice or enjoy it cold. I saw they have coffee and olive Americano. The coffee bean flavor is distinct, and the olive branches don't compete, making it a perfect fusion and pairing! A friend told me they'll be making oden soon. I'm looking forward to #FoodFlavorMeet #FaceControlFavoriteAfternoonTea #FuzhouTravel #FuzhouCheck-In #FuzhouFood
