小汐的环游记Fuzhou is truly a great place for food and entertainment! Three Lanes and Seven Alleys and Daming Food Street are must-see destinations, a true paradise for foodies and arty young people.
🚶♀️ Recommended Places:
📍Three Lanes and Seven Alleys:
No. 139, Nanhou Street, Gulou District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province
This must-visit old street in Fuzhou is open all day! The Love Tree (in front of No. 36, Nanhou Street, Three Lanes and Seven Alleys) is a trendy Instagram-worthy spot, so be sure to take a photo!
📍Daming Food Street:
Southeast of the intersection of Daming Road and Guxi Road
Starting at 5:30 PM, the place becomes bustling with activity, and the variety of delicious food is dazzling! We especially recommend Bapo Po's Roasted Grass Jelly (No. 92, Nanhou Street), as well as the Fuzhou specialties fish balls and meat dumplings. Each dish will give you an authentic Fuzhou flavor!
🏨Recommended accommodation:
Fuzhou Yundong Rongyu Hotel (2nd Floor, No. 143, Guohuo West Road)
The location is incredibly convenient, right near the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys. Although it features a Japanese-style design, it's perfect for photo opportunities. The facilities are all new, even the toilets are smart! You can even watch a projection screen in bed at night!
🥢Must-Try Foods:
Besides the aforementioned Ba Po Po Shao Jiang (Grass Jelly), you absolutely must try all the snacks at Daming Food Street! My top recommendations:
1. Fuzhou Fish Balls: Thin skin, generous filling, bursting with juice.
2. Meat Dumplings: Tender meat filling wrapped in paper-thin skin.
3. Pot-Bian Hu (Pot-Bian Hu): A favorite breakfast for Fuzhou locals.
✨Tips:
1. Daming Food Street is busiest at night, so go after 6 PM.
2. The Love Tree in the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys is best lit in the afternoon.
3. The night view of Shangxiahang is stunning, perfect for a stroll after dinner.

Babapo's Grass Jelly is a well-known chain in Fujian. If you're wandering around Sanfang Qixiang, you absolutely have to try it. Following the navigation, I found the facade quite unassuming, but the line was surprisingly long. ✅ Must-try: There are four varieties, including milk tea grass jelly, milk grass jelly, honey grass jelly, and coconut grass jelly. The ingredients are clearly listed for each. Prices range from 10.5 to 11 yuan, and there are three or four additional toppings. The refrigerator holds cups of pre-made grass jelly. Simply add the toppings and top with milk tea or coconut milk. 👍 Highest Recommendation: Order the honey grass jelly for its original, sweet flavor, with red beans and peanuts, and a generous selection of toppings. #Peach Blossom Spring-like Village #A Collection of Delicious Snacks #Local Food #City Humanities Notes #My Late-night Diner
