Before you heard of Fuzhou, you must have heard of Fuzhou fish balls. How can you not try such a famous fish ball when you come to Fuzhou? This fish ball store is a chain store. It is a Chinese time-honored brand licensed by the Ministry of Commerce. It was founded in 1934 and has been passed down for three generations. It is a real time-honored brand. There are many chain stores in Fuzhou. This one is the Xianta Street store, located at No. 06, Building 2, Chengshouqian New Village, No. 16 Chengshouqian Road. Fuzhou snacks that specialize in fish balls and fish noodles, ordered a bowl of the signature #五福临门# for 18 yuan; it contains shark balls, eel balls, fish soup, meat dumplings, and fish rolls. The fish balls are chewy and filled with pork. After biting them open, drink some of the soup first. It is indeed better than eating in other places. I don’t like meatballs very much. I like them very much. Fish rolls and meat dumplings are also good. Be sure to add some vinegar and pepper. Pepper removes the fishy smell and enhances the freshness. #鱼丝面#12 yuan; it is said to be made of fish noodles, but I think it tastes just average, a little hard, nothing special, fish balls are better. Everything can be bought as a souvenir to take away. The decoration inside the store is antique, and there are many old photos before Fuzhou, the introduction of Yonghe’s founder and the development history of the store. In general, since you are in Fuzhou, you might as well come to this old brand to try the authentic snacks.
Yonghe Fish Balls (Xiannan Road Branch)…A time-honored fish ball shop in Fuzhou. If you want to try all the flavors of fish balls at once, you can choose Wufulinmen.
Several new shops have recently opened on Xiannan Road in Fuzhou, offering desserts, Yunnan cuisine, and coffee... A friend said: "This place is really popular, you should try it! It's across from Yonghe Road." At Shishi Dai, I ordered the mint-spiced tripe, Dai-style cold egg salad, grilled fish, and passion fruit rice noodles. The flavor profile was sour, spicy, and salty—good with rice! Those who can't handle spice should tell the restaurant; I was sweating buckets while eating! I recommend the pineapple sticky rice, but the paoluda (a type of fried rice cake) was just okay! The service was excellent. I think I came five, six, seven, or eight times during my meal. The average price was around 85 RMB, which isn't expensive, but the selection was limited. #FuzhouTourism #FuzhouFood #FuzhouCheckIn #FoodFestival #LocalFood
🎉The moment I set foot on Fuzhou, this culinary paradise, I was captivated by the ancient steamed fish swallows in Sanfang Qixiang. Those fish swallows were a perfect blend of freshness and smoothness, every bite a pure bliss! The egg noodles were also a must-try, rich in flavor and unforgettable. While the Yonghe fish balls were decent, as a Fuzhou specialty, they were still worth trying. Next, I stumbled upon the guava with licorice sauce opposite the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall. The taste was simply heaven for fruit lovers! Sweet with a hint of sourness, refreshing and irresistible. The Cui-style fried chicken was even more amazing. The coconut milk blue rice shaved ice and the flavorful fried chicken were a refreshing treat on a summer day. Ordering takeout to the hotel and enjoying it while relaxing was wonderful! In the evening, we tried Fuyu Laohua (a type of rice noodle soup). Although it was a bit fishy, as a Fuzhou specialty, it was still worth experiencing. Domino's Salted Egg Yolk and Tender Chicken Pizza was absolutely delicious! The perfect combination of salted egg yolk and tender chicken made every bite a pure bliss. In the morning, I went to Xianfeng Market. The chewy, juicy snacks were irresistible, but remember not to buy too much, or it will get too rich! Afterwards, I randomly picked an oyster omelet near the morning market; it tasted just like a crispy and delicious pancake. For drinks, both Grandpa's Tea and Tang Mo were great experiences. While milk teas are generally similar, Tang Mo's pistachio drink was refreshingly delightful, bursting with pistachio flavor. Finally, Zhu Fugui Seafood was my grand finale. The seafood was plentiful, fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Remember to make a reservation two hours in advance on the mini-program, otherwise, the crowds will be unimaginable! This Fuzhou food tour was truly a feast for my taste buds; every bite was pure bliss! 🥰
