I went to Guangyuan for two nights. I saw that this hot pot restaurant had good reviews. We went there at 4pm and waited for a seat for half an hour. The business was so good. As for the taste of the hot pot, it didn't seem to be particularly amazing. It was like yogurt beef and red wine beef. The serving method was quite special. We haven't seen it in Xi'an. The taste of the dishes is similar to other hot pots. I suggest people who haven't eaten it to try it.

If you're looking for a weekend getaway, Guangyuan, Sichuan, the hometown of the Empress, is a good choice. The flavors tend to favor spicy Sichuan cuisine and the hot cold noodles of Hanzhong. Souvenirs include Ma Xingguo Walnut Cakes (individually wrapped for easy portability) and Xiao Tang Walnut Cakes (delicious eaten right on the spot). We close in the afternoon when they sell out. You can explore every corner of the ancient city in about two hours. Entrance fee is 0 yuan. Combination tickets are available for the city wall and various attractions within the city. Day 3️⃣ A full day of city tours. Walk along the Jialing River during the day. Visit Railway Park. This restaurant is incredibly popular, and the lines are said to be hours long during lunchtime. Hu Hanhan Hotpot (Old City Branch) Address: No. 43, Xiaoxi Street, Old City, Lizhou District, Guangyuan, Sichuan Open: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM Hu Hanhan Hotpot is located in an old residential area on the banks of the Jialing River. With large tables and long benches, the decor is simple, creating a truly local hotpot atmosphere. You can get a number via your phone, and the lines at the restaurant can be quite long during lunchtime. There are over a dozen tables both indoors and outdoors. Hot pot requires a minimum of an hour, so it's recommended to get a number in advance. ✅ You can order via mobile phone. 📱 The dishes are small, but the portions are generous, making it convenient for trying a wide variety of dishes. The average cost per person is around 70 yuan, which is great value. ✅ We, one adult and one child, ordered fresh tripe, goose intestines, 🍷 red wine beef, Gongcai meatballs, luncheon meat, mushrooms, and kelp. I absolutely love Guangyuan! I really want to buy a house there! Sichuan isn't just about Chengdu. If you want to experience a truly slow-paced city, you have to visit riverside cities like Deyang, Mianyang, Yibin, and Guangyuan. They're bustling yet relaxed, with everything from food and entertainment to entertainment. Without the hustle and bustle of office workers, it feels like everyone is striving for a better life. Guangyuan boasts the "Jianmen Pass," where one man holds the fort against ten thousand! Northeast Sichuan's rich history has always exuded a sense of security. Besides trying the local specialty "tofu banquet" in Guangyuan, I also discovered a fantastic hot pot restaurant.
