An old restaurant in the Botanical Garden, specializing in Hangzhou cuisine. The top-quality fish head king, a small portion also has a lot of ingredients, all of which are fresh ingredients. The soup has been stewed to a milky white color and tastes good. Longjing shrimp, the subtle tea fragrance, paired with bouncy shrimp, perfect.
The taste is good, the environment is good, the hygiene is clean and tidy, and the price is also reasonable. I recommend everyone to try it! It suits the eating habits of most people! It's still okay!
When I came to Hangzhou with my classmates, I had to try authentic Hangzhou cuisine, so I came to this old restaurant which is famous both at home and abroad and is located by the mountains. After we sat down, I couldn't even look at the menu, as a long list of Hangzhou dishes came to my mind: West Lake Vinegar Fish, Eight Treasure Fish Head, Longjing Shrimp, Hangzhou Braised Duck, Fried Ringbell, Scallion Stew, Pianerchuan... Except for the Scallion Stew which didn't seem to be well prepared this time, the other dishes tasted great!
Louwailou is no longer as good, and I didn't expect Shanwaishan to be any less delicious. The fish head soup is a must-try, and I ordered the medium portion, but it wasn't as good as it used to be. The vegetarian goose was cold, so I took it out of the refrigerator and let it sit for a while. The shrimp balls in the soup were fried unevenly and were just average. The fried hairtail fish had only the edges and corners, not even the meat from the belly. The taste of this long-established restaurant has indeed deteriorated significantly.
The scenery of the mountains beyond mountains in the botanical garden is beyond words. You can drive into the botanical garden and park there. The store has parking tickets. It is best to go there when the weather is fine. It is also suitable for inviting friends from other places. It is best to sit outdoors. Because the hotel has a long history, there is always a smell of food in the indoor lobby, which has penetrated into every brick. The dishes are Hangzhou home-cooked dishes with a relatively light taste. They are neither good nor bad. People with strong tastes may not like them, but it is a suitable place to entertain guests.
