A delightful surprise at the Wyndham Grand Hangzhou's Fusion Restaurant! ✨ I was completely won over by the "Braised Pork Belly with Fermented Rice Buns"! Rich yet not greasy, it melts in your mouth, and paired with the sweet fermented rice buns, it's simply divine! The "Jackfruit Stir-fried Beef" was an even more wonderful taste experience, a delightful collision of fruity and savory flavors, sweet and sour, a truly amazing bite! Highly recommended! The Steamed Sea Bass, seemingly a traditional Cantonese dish, incorporates unique fusion elements here. Using fresh sea bass, with its tender flesh, clear eyes, and bright red gills, the freshness of the ingredients is guaranteed. Highly recommended! 👍🏻
The restaurant's fusion concept is perfectly embodied in its dishes. The signature braised pork belly with quail eggs and fermented rice buns is an absolute must-try surprise. The braised pork belly uses high-quality pork belly with a perfect balance of fat and lean meat, slow-cooked until the sauce is a rich, glossy red. The fat melts in your mouth without being greasy, while the lean meat is tender yet retains its texture, infused with the warm aroma of quail eggs. The accompanying fermented rice buns are the perfect finishing touch to the Jiangzhe style, with a soft, fluffy texture and a subtle aroma of fermented rice. Dipping them in the braised pork sauce creates a delightful balance of sweet and savory flavors, instantly soothing the taste buds. The fusion of traditional home cooking and refined culinary techniques is truly perfect.
This dish skillfully blends the refreshing spiciness of Thai cuisine with the sweet and mellow flavors of Hangzhou cuisine, creating a completely new taste experience. The sea bass is steamed until its flesh is as smooth as cream, its skin gleaming with a translucent sheen, and topped with fresh lime slices and lemongrass shreds. When the server squeezes in freshly squeezed lemon juice, the tangy aroma bursts forth, instantly tantalizing the taste buds. The first bite of the fish is sweet and savory with a touch of Thai spices, while the broth at the bottom of the plate, a base of chicken broth commonly used in Hangzhou cuisine, infused with the tangy lemon, creates a dual flavor profile of "Thai freshness + Hangzhou sweetness."
They've recently launched many new dishes, and they all taste great! Highly recommended. Environment: Located on the second floor of a five-star hotel, the environment is excellent. The window seats offer a view of the plane trees along Fengqi Road, creating a wonderful atmosphere and perfect for taking photos. The restaurant is also quite quiet and very close to West Lake. Service: The service is excellent. The price is very reasonable and offers great value for money.
