I like to eat stewed in an iron pot at Gaolianghong Restaurant because the older lady there is incredibly warm and welcoming. The ambiance is nice, and I especially like it. The ingredients are quite fresh, and the flavors are just right&mdash;not too salty, not too bland&mdash;the potatoes are especially soft and mealy.

Located inside a shopping mall, parking is convenient. Locals don&#39;t really go there much; we just go because it&#39;s close by. Last time I took my family, we ordered their signature braised pork belly. The sweetness was something out-of-towners might like, but we, used to the local style, found it a bit too greasy.

[Taste] Lijiang grouper hotpot may be available everywhere, but the fish tofu pudding in this old archway is really hard to find outside Heilongjiang Province. The taste is amazing😋

The sweet and sour pork was amazing! The outer layer was fried to a super crispy golden brown, with a satisfying crunch when you bite into it, and the slices of pork inside were quite thick. The sweet and sour sauce was just right, not greasy at all. Don&#39;t you guys love this texture too? I almost ate the whole plate by myself, haha! 😄

Locals here don&#39;t usually take their kids to eat sauerkraut fish. But their soup base is really good, very flavorful, and doesn&#39;t leave you feeling thirsty. I usually just order a single serving of fish and add a portion of rice noodles, which is more economical than ordering a set meal.
