Lao Ding Feng's candied hawthorn berries are a must-try when visiting Harbin in winter. The filling is generous; when you bite into it, you can see the pitted hawthorns stuffed inside. The flaky crust is key; it's best eaten fresh, as it will soften if left out too long. It's recommended to go in the morning, when they're fresh out of the oven and taste the best.

This restaurant's group-buying coupons are such a great deal! My friends and I ate here and it only cost a few dozen yuan per person, and the portions were incredibly generous—they weren't skimping on the food at all, haha. It felt like we saved a fortune!

This rum ice cream cake is really good! The cake itself is incredibly soft and chewy, and the chocolate topping adds a wonderful texture. However, I should warn you that the rum flavor is quite strong, so if you're driving, it's best to avoid ordering it, or at least stay a while longer after you finish eating.
