Kung Wo Bean Products Factory is a time-honored store of bean products. It was founded in 1893 and has a long history. It has many branches in Hong Kong. This store in Sham Shui Po is located in a traditional market. You can easily find it by walking from Exit B2 of the Sham Shui Po MTR towards Pei Ho Street, just a short walk ahead from Kun Kee Cake. This place specializes in selling soy products. There are many different types of soy products at the door, including yuba, zhizhu, tofu, tofu, bean sprouts, etc. There is a factory behind the store, so the products are made and sold immediately, making them extremely fresh. On the other side of the shop is a small workshop where Yong Tau Foo, Tofu Pudok, and Fish Foo are fried on site... Since it is in a market, the environment inside the store is relatively average. When I arrived at 12 noon, it was packed with seats, which shows how popular it is. This is also one of the 23 Hong Kong street food restaurants recommended by the Michelin Guide in 2016. The soy milk has moderate sweetness and a strong bean flavor. The tofu curd is smooth and delicious. The light bean aroma is paired with the slightly ginger-flavored sugar water, which is better than the usual brown sugar water.
