The Seven Tables Restaurant in Xitang Ancient Town, Jiashan, is currently the most popular restaurant in Xitang Scenic Area. We made a reservation one day in advance. The restaurant is not big, but the dishes are authentic local dishes, among which the pork knuckle and rice dumplings with fermented glutinous rice are the best in our opinion.

Xitang is really lively at night. I searched for a group purchase at Yanjunlou nearby and found it is quite cost-effective. It is suitable for the taste of the whole family. The environment is quite good. The Jiangnan flavor is quaint and you just want to eat the local characteristics! I especially like the river crab and chicken pot. The golden chicken soup is so fresh. The chicken meat is chewy. Adding a few river crabs makes it more delicious. The soup is super delicious! The steamed white water fish and yam fungus are also very good. The farm ingredients are fresh and delicious, and it is very comfortable to eat!

Mengli Water Village is quite famous. I came here after seeing the recommendation from Ctrip. I tried it and it tasted pretty good. There were a lot of people during the holiday so the food was a little slow. I ate half of the white fish and lotus seed rice and it was okay.
