This is an old breakfast spot around here, not really frequented by locals. But the owner is incredibly welcoming; she greets you as soon as you walk in. The aroma of the stew in the morning is enough to make you hungry.

Garlic noodles for only 5 yuan—that's an absolute steal! The garlic flavor is amazing, and the noodles are perfectly chewy. By the way, if you go, remember to add some chili peppers—it'll elevate the flavor to another level.

The herbal stew was good. The broth was authentic, with a strong herbal flavor that wasn't overpowering. At 38 yuan a serving, you could tell it had been simmered for a long time.
