I'd call this the most profitable time of the year I spent in Shanghai! Last week, I took some friends to Shanghai for dinner. For a small price, we were able to visit the Lujiazui three-piece suite, the Oriental Pearl Tower, and the International Architecture Complex all at once. The 270-degree river view sunroom is absolutely stunning, airy and elegant during the day. The blues-themed atmosphere is fantastic, and the night view changes with the changing lights. It was so beautiful that my phone ran out of memory! The best part was dinner, a Chaoshan dinner! The thick-cut Longjiang pork trotter was incredibly glutinous, the Chaoshan fried rice cake was crispy on the outside and fragrant on the inside, and the tomato-braised fish maw was incredibly nourishing. The local small white pomfret with gourd was incredibly delicious... While enjoying Chaoshan delicacies while overlooking the magnificent Huangpu River, this trip to Shanghai was incredibly worthwhile!
