Hidden inside the Sinan Mansion!! I had an amazing omakase meal this year!! And it just happened to be in season~ The starter (warming dish) was a blast!! The sakura shrimp with crispy fried shiso was fresh and fragrant! The 6 pieces of sushi🍣 had layers of flavor, and the skinless fish was a real treat. The desserts were refreshing and delicate. I've been wanting to visit Imami Konami for ages. I've been constantly browsing their lotus leaf restaurant since summer, and the feedback from those who've been there has been so positive. Finally, I managed to get it organized before the end of the year! The restaurant is located next to the Sinan Mansion and is easy to find. It's small, but the layout is very sophisticated, with both a main floor area and private rooms, providing plenty of privacy. The demon decorations on the table, including the blacksmith's mask from Demon Slayer, are really interesting. [Color] The opening is a blast: a chrysanthemum flower caps the bowl, revealing a heartwarming dish of shrimp and abalone. Lotus leaf in summer, chrysanthemum in winter—beautiful! 🤩 🔹The specialty is the sakura shrimp, which are tender and soft, topped with a layer of seaweed-like perilla. Garnished with perilla flowers, the highlight was the accompanying miso, made entirely from shrimp brains. So fresh! 🔸The sashimi was amazing. The silverskin was tender and chewy, the mudskippers were wrapped in sea urchin, and the best part was the tuna. The large belly and midriff were sliced thinly and stacked like a mille-feuille, instantly creating a rich texture. I loved this idea. After so many omakase dishes, this was the first time I was wowed by sashimi! 🔹The bowl was made with overnight dried spring fish. The skin was crispy and paired with arrowhead mushrooms, yuzu peel, and burdock, perfect for warming up after a sashimi feast! 🔸The kingfish was prepared separately from the skin. The scales were removed and sautéed in sesame oil, then coated in the fish, creating a sizzling sensation. It was quite interesting! 🔺This time I had a seasonal hairy crab dish called a crab bun. The bun was filled with female hairy crab roe and lotus root cubes, and the outside was a sauce made from the male crab meat, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. The bun was soft and sticky, and my mouth was filled with the essence of hairy crab. So delicious! 🔹As for the sushi🍣, the rice was a bit moist, not the grainy texture I like, but it was still delicious. 7 pieces of sushi was a complete feast! 🔸The final dessert included an orange jelly🍊. It was so chewy and bouncy, I loved it hahaha~ Summary: This restaurant really puts a lot of effort into it. The attention to detail and creativity are visible to the naked eye.
