There's a Thai restaurant in the mall near my house that's really doing great business. I happened to be having dinner with family. We usually eat local food, but we like to change up our cuisine for the occasional get-together, so we chose this place. We went on a weekend lunch break, and while we still had to wait for a table, it was pretty quick. The yellow curry beef wasn't too spicy, and the beef was perfectly tender and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Since we were so busy, we ordered two main dishes, pineapple fried rice and Thai gilt rim vermicelli. They were both delicious. The water spinach with shrimp paste is a must-order every time I come here, and I always finish it. I love the flavor. The salted egg yolk squid was my first time ordering it, and it was also delicious, but it can get a bit greasy if you eat too much. The rest of the dishes I ordered were the Tom Yum seafood soup, grilled pork neck, and shrimp cakes with plum sauce. They're all my go-tos, and I can't go wrong with them.
