After lunch at Taikoo Hui, I wanted to find a place to sit. Several shops were crowded, so I came to Sukhothai to have a look. This Urban Cafe is on the first floor of the hotel. It has afternoon tea in the afternoon and is a bar at night. It feels quite quiet, but because it is an open space, there is probably a party on the second floor. I can hear the buzzing all the time. Now there is a MONTBLANC theme afternoon tea, and buy one get one free gin and tonic from 5 to 8 o'clock.

It was also because the points of Xingye Taikoo Hui were about to expire, so I exchanged some of them for afternoon tea here. Urban Café belongs to the Sukhothai Hotel, a boutique hotel in Thailand, close to Weihai Road. After the holidays, I called to make an appointment according to the important instructions on the afternoon tea coupon, but was told that I didn’t need to make an appointment at all. Then I was told that afternoon tea was only available on weekends. I was poured cold water on it. Why didn’t the afternoon tea coupon clearly state it? I came here on a weekend. Parking is required on the fourth floor underground. There is an elevator directly to the hotel. Turn right after exiting the elevator and you will see the cafe. The lights are dim and the signs are not clear at all. The waiters are crowded together and talking, and they asked me to run over to ask. Obviously, they have no service awareness. Afternoon tea only occupies a small space in the cafe. It is basically some chocolates, fruit desserts and small sandwiches. The taste is ordinary, and the Earl Grey tea tastes not very good. Eat whatever you want. One coupon can only be used by one person, and the second person is about 300 yuan. This is not a good value for money. The air conditioning in the entire space on the first floor is obviously insufficient, and cashmere sweaters are not enough. The leader of the family wore down jackets the whole time. As a five-star hotel, this is really not enough. In fact, the taste, service, and environment are just so-so, but it is seriously inconsistent with the positioning of a high-end boutique hotel. Very disappointed

The restaurant is suitable for dates. Maybe because there are so many people, the food is served too slowly and the salad is too small. The taste is good. The Thai grilled chicken legs are also relatively tender. Two kinds of sauces are added. There is only one ice cream in a small amount. The water spinach with shrimp paste is also average.
