After 1949, Xingyang County Yamen has been used as the office of the county government. Later, it became Xingyang Medical School.

Xingyang County Yamen is the only remaining yamen-type building in Xingyang City. The layout is relatively intact and has high cultural relic value.
The layout map of the county yamen during the Qianlong period is the layout map drawn in the 11th year of Qianlong recorded in the &quot;Xingyang County Chronicles&quot;. From south to north, the middle road is the platform, lobby, second hall courtyard, third hall courtyard, inner house courtyard, study courtyard, back building courtyard and east garden.
