The first meal in Hongcun, the restaurant is located outside the scenic area, opposite the big tree at the entrance of the village. I ordered the dried bamboo shoots that I had been craving for, and the local Huangshan double stones, namely stone ear and stone chicken. Stone ear is a fungus similar to wood ear, and stone chicken is similar to frog. They are very delicious when fried together. The dried bamboo shoots are also very tender, and I couldn't stop eating them. The meat is a bit fat, but the taste is still good.

Walking all the way to the big tree at the entrance of the village, I happened to see the sign of Wanghu, which was not far from the scenic area. Because I had seen it online before, I went to experience it. I ordered four dishes and one soup, plus two bottles of ice beer and a glass of kiwi wine, totaling 191 yuan. For four people, I personally feel that it is not expensive. The dishes tasted good, except that the soup was too light, and we basically ate all the dishes. Overall, I was satisfied.

The boss is a really nice guy! He's one of the rare nice guys in a tourist spot! He's warm and considerate, and he's always there for you. He doesn't just make money by ordering dishes, but he tries his best to accommodate your requests, which is rare. Great!
