I woke up from a sleepless night and ate the donkey meat hot buns I had been craving for. They were not the usual long strips or round ones, but almost square, hollow in the middle. Even when there was no meat in them, they were plump and bulging. A small slit was opened at the top, and the meat was stuffed in little by little with a spoon. But I gave it away after taking a bite. It had a strange taste that was hard to swallow, and it tasted nothing like what I usually eat. Maybe this is the real donkey.

I went to Yuanshi on a business trip and tasted the local food, Yincun donkey meat biscuits with noodles, which tasted good and worth a try!

We went there for a family gathering and ordered 8 dishes, all of which tasted good. The Beijing-style crispy duck is the recommended dish in the store, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The children like the tomato stewed beef and several other dishes. Although they are home-cooked dishes, they are all made with a lot of effort. The price is not high and very affordable. It is a good place for gatherings.
