Traveling to Baisha Ancient Town in Lijiang with my daughter, the luckiest choice was staying at the Kuiran Hotel! Stepping into the guesthouse, we were immediately soothed by its rustic wood design, warm yellow lighting, and lush greenery, instantly relieving our travel fatigue. The room was surprisingly clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and my daughter exclaimed, "It feels like sleeping on a cloud!" as soon as she lay down. We could even catch a glimpse of the distant snow-capped mountains through the window, and opening the curtains in the morning revealed a refreshing view. Breakfast was absolutely perfect! The freshly baked flower cakes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a rich rose aroma; my daughter ate two and still wanted more. The freshly cooked rice noodles were generously topped with flavorful broth, paired with local pickled vegetables—warming and refreshing. The coffee was the most amazing; the beans were fragrant and rich. Whether it was the crisp Americano or the smooth latte, you could taste the owner's dedication. Sitting in the courtyard in the morning, enjoying the sunshine and coffee, was so pleasant we didn't want to move. The guesthouse owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, patiently recommending less-traveled ways to experience the ancient town and even helping us with our luggage. The overall experience was fantastic. The clean and comfortable environment, delicious food, and attentive service made this family trip even warmer. Next time I'm in Baisha, I'll definitely stay at Kuiran again!
The scenery is absolutely stunning! My room had a view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right outside the window. No need to get up early to squeeze into the scenic area; I could just lie in bed and watch the "Golden Mountain Sunrise"—as dawn breaks, the snow-capped peaks are slowly bathed in golden-red sunlight. It's ten times more breathtaking to see with the naked eye than in photos! This experience was definitely worth the room rate. The breakfast was incredibly delicious! Not fancy at all, just home-style: thick, creamy porridge, warm, soft steamed buns, and local Lijiang pickled vegetables—it was all so delicious. No need to rush out to find breakfast; just sit in the courtyard and enjoy the snow-capped mountain view—so relaxing! The accommodation was also hassle-free. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Baisha Ancient Town. After exploring, I could collapse on the sofa, look at the fireplace (you can even warm yourself by it in winter), chat with the owner about local sightseeing, and relax without any hassle. If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing trip to Baisha, where you can enjoy a hot breakfast while gazing at the snow-capped mountains, this is the place to be!
