위항빈I said I wanted to eat authentic lamb skewers. A local friend in Zhengzhou brought me here and said it was delicious. I was really surprised. I knew it was not the pre-made lamb skewers after taking a bite. There was no tender meat powder or lamb essence. It was different from any lamb skewers in Beijing. This one tasted like the hand-skewered lamb skewers on the roadside in my hometown when I was a child. Lamb skewers are a must. It was the first time I saw such a big piece of tripe on the skewer. The only drawback was that it was very salty... The remaining lamb steamed buns, old tofu and casserole are also recommended. I would like to eat this lamb skewers next time I go to Zhengzhou. #How to play in Zhengzhou #Zhengzhou travel #Zhengzhou food #lamb skewers #local food

My tendency to imitate others is to want to eat whatever I see them eating. The above are all street vendors I've eaten at least twice (in no particular order). Feel free to recommend them. Feng Ji Tianfu Spicy Spicy Skewers 📍No. 4, Taoyuan South Street, Erqi District, Building 1, No. 1.2 The chili is fragrant but not overly spicy! I'd travel far to try it. Bingbing Sauce, Old-Fashioned Northeastern Spicy Hot Pot (Lianyun Road Branch) 📍No. 6, Heyuan, Xiangyun Road, Erqi District, a street-side shop The standard sticky Northeastern spicy hot pot and fried skewers, and the shaved ice is also a standout! The texture is incredible. Fang Yong BBQ Main Store 📍No. 37, Gongsan Street, Jinshui District (390 meters walk from Exit B of Renmin Road Subway Station) This humble old-fashioned restaurant serves excellent steamed vegetable mango, steamed buns, and casserole barbecue. Don't miss out on blind spots. Ma Renhong Liangpi Shop 📍58-9 Mianfang Road, Zhongyuan District This long-standing shop, renowned among Zhengzhou residents, is so delicious that the noodles are sold out by 5 or 6 PM. It's truly delicious! Su Yumei Cheese (New World Department Store) 📍Room 109, 1st Floor, No. 59 Zijingshan Road, Guancheng Hui District Xinxiang specialty: rich, creamy cheese and a rich topping. Korean noodles are sweet, sour, and spicy. #TrueFlavorfulSnacks #LocalDelicious #LocalSpecialSnacks
Fang Yong BBQ has been incredibly popular lately, and I'd be remiss if I didn't visit. Fang Yong BBQ has several locations in Zhengzhou. The main branch I visited is not far from Heji (Renmin Road), but parking is still a challenge. There's no menu, so please do your research before ordering, or just order what others are eating. Then, pay and wait. I sat near the door, and many customers pointed at my barbecue and said, "Give me this." [JoyTears] It's summer, so it's all about the small barbecue dishes. Business is booming. I ordered so much and it cost less than 100 yuan, which is quite a bargain. The main barbecue is impeccable, and the siomai (steamed buns) and vegetable mango are both delicious. The cold dishes aren't quite to my taste. The ambiance is okay, though a bit noisy, but you have to put up with it to enjoy the authentic flavor.
The store is inconspicuous, located in a small alley, but the business is very good. The customers are often too busy to serve the dishes. The barbecue tastes pretty good.
