My trip to Zhengzhou coincided with Women's Day (March 8th), and I pre-booked a four-course meal for two at David City's Waipo Private Kitchen online. The menu, priced at 119 yuan, was a great value, with light flavors that suited my colleagues and I perfectly. Waipo Private Kitchen is a popular spot in many cities, allowing you to sample authentic Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine without having to venture to the Jiangnan region.

I came to Zhengzhou on a business trip. The day before, I had the very popular Banu Maodu Hotpot in Zhengzhou. It was a bit too spicy. I wanted to eat something light at noon today. I didn’t expect to see Waipo Private Kitchen in Zhengzhou. It should not be the same Waipojia in Hangzhou, but the decoration, service and taste are still quite authentic. I was very satisfied with the meal with my colleagues. I will try it again when I come to Zhengzhou next time.
